May 2011:
From the National Stationery Show in NYC, we have won the 2011 LOUIE award in the “Rising Star” category.
This pleases us. Our thanks to the kind judging panel and their (obvious) impeccable good taste.
In a stroke of marketing genius, we forgot to post our updated catalogue prior to arriving here in the great City of New York.
Quickest way to view our wholesale catalogue is on the NSS site here.
Or, if you wish to download a pdf, here ‘tis
Our line sheets are a condensed version of catalogue and are here. pdf.
We’re pleased to announce that our favorite Mother’s Day card has been nominated as a finalist in the National Stationery Show’s ”Louie” competition. This is akin to a Grammy for music or an Oscar for a film. No, there will likely be no “stars” present at the awards ceremony, but being nominated is quite an honor. Here’s the proud nominated card.
We’re pleased to announce that we have shipped our Baby Book to Peabody Papers in Columbus, Ohio. If you are local, please visit them, they’re awfully nice folks, although I can’t confirm that Mr. Peabody’s sidekick Sherman is onsite. Here’s a link to their website.
2, 3 and 4 color sugar rushes. Illustrations by Elizabeth Weaver, design by Leslie Kedash, Kedash Design. A2 cards, blank interiors, printed on Crane Cotton Lettra paper with accompanying envelopes.
After hours of labor, we have shipped our first Baby Album. This piece contains all 16 of our new designs, as well as retail pricing. We will be sending samples of the cards (sans album) to selected stationery stores across the country and hope to entice folks to take on the line. Many thanks again to The Village Invites, NYC for being the first retailer to join with us.
We are pleased to announce that The Village Invites has become the first retailer for our line of baby announcements. They have just opened a new store at 20 East 13th Street in New York which will have more emphasis on babies than the flagship store at 25 West 43rd Street. Stop in to see the line and meet Nathalie, who sure sounds nice over the phone!
Thanks for your support, Linda and Nathalie.
