I’m awfully fond of this design. It represents the first time we have letterpressed an open typeface (Caslon). (there’s space inside some of the lines comprising the letters) The surrounding circle is ideal for letterpress, with lots of texture in a small space. The “barely there” appearance of the the surround just sings. (#8106)

We’re pleased to announce that our favorite Mother’s Day card has been nominated as a finalist in the National Stationery Show’s ”Louie” competition. This is akin to a Grammy for music or an Oscar for a film. No, there will likely be no “stars” present at the awards ceremony, but being nominated is quite an honor. Here’s the proud nominated card.

We are pleased to announce that The Village Invites has become the first retailer for our line of baby announcements. They have just opened a new store at 20 East 13th Street in New York which will have more emphasis on babies than the flagship store at 25 West 43rd Street. Stop in to see the line and meet Nathalie, who sure sounds nice over the phone!
Thanks for your support, Linda and Nathalie.
