Thanks for stopping in. And please…have a heapin’ helpin’ of our hospitality. The quickest way to see what we offer is to go to the Galleries at the top of this page. But please feel free to wander. “New Stuff” above will get you the latest. The galleries tend to lag real time. There’s also a link to a pdf catalogue up there.

Or would that be Mummy Dearest? Two Mom cards with a chrysanthemum tilt. Designs by Lori Gray- Kedash Design.
This card started life as a personalized notecard. We think it stands on its own as a stock greeting card as well. We didn’t “knock out” where one color overlaps another, which is our usual practice. The effect here of two somewhat transparent colors overlapping makes a new one (in this case turquoise). Kinda cool looking.
No, it’s not here yet, but seasons change and so do their colors. We’ve always liked this card, mostly because it has great “hand” (garment industry-speak for “it feels good”). Thank You notes never go out of season or style so, with the snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis) emerging under the snow near the end of a horrendous winter here in the great Mid-Atlantic, this color just sings Spring.

I’m forever trying to figure out how to best light our work to show both the detail of the product as well as the three dimensional aspect of letterpress printing. Best is a full sun window to play with but, it’s not always ready when I am. For this pic I used a metal halide lamp salvaged from a defunct marine aquarium. They say metal halide is the closest man made light source to sunlight. I’m not entirely sure about that, but this shot, with just one light source, really does capture the depth of the card. And check out the saturation on that light tan color…..thank you Heidelberg Windmill.
